The Clean Air Council, in cooperation with the City of Philadelphia, is providing limited grants to existing, co-located Perchloroethylene (Perc) dry cleaning facilities in Philadelphia that will be retrofitted with non-Perc, dry cleaning machines.
Only existing co-located, Perc dry cleaning facilities that have placed orders for non-Perc dry cleaning machines after Jan. 1, 2012 are eligible for these grants.
Co-located facilities are those that share a common wall, ceiling or floor with another business, residence, hospital, daycare, school, health clinic, community center or recreation area.
Grants will be limited to $1,000 to each recipient.
