Mar 07, 2019

The Environmental Protection Agency is seeking comments on its National Compliance Initiatives (NCI) for fiscal year 2020-2023. The general public is invited to comment but will need to do so by March 11, 2019.

EPA is looking to increase the compliance rate to help reduce the average time from violation to correction.  There are eight selected initiatives listed which EPA will focus on for the NCI.  Among the listed initiatives are increasing air compliance by Reducing Air Pollution from the Largest Sources and Cutting Hazardous Air Pollutants

Small businesses can learn more by visiting EPA's National Compliance Initiatives website. The public can submit comments on NCI through a Federal Register notice but must do so by March 11, 2019.
