New Proposed Fees for Air Quality Permit Applications

New Proposed Fees for Air Quality Permit Applications

Apr 12, 2019

The Pennsylvania Environmental Quality Board (EQB) has issued a new proposed rulemaking which will affect existing air quality plan approval and operating permit fee schedules. The increased fees and new fee structure will be used to address overall declines in air quality program funding for the Pennsylvania DEP.

Proposed fee changes include new and increased fees required to submit an air quality plan approval application, operating permit applications, and Request for Determinations (RFDs). To learn more about the proposed rulemaking and proposed fee structure please click here.

Small businesses and the general public are invited to submit written comments, suggestions, support or objections to the EQB by June 17, 2019.  Comments may be submitted to the EQB by accessing Pennsylvania DEP's eComment located here
